تنظم ندوة دولية حول النص الديني والترجمة 21، 22، و 23 مارس 2007
النص الديني و الترجمة
إذا كانت الترجمة تلعب دورا أساسيا في التقريب بين الثقافات والحضارات، فلا شك أن ترجمة النص الديني لا تقل أهمية في تأدية هذا الدور الحيوي باعتباره حقلا رائدا في هذا المجال. وفعلا، فقد كانت ترجمة النص الديني ولا تزال حقلا يطرح تحديات جمة، وموضوعا مثمرا ومثيرا للجدل في حقل الترجمة ولاسيما في زمن الصراعات الايديولوجية والحضارية. تهدف ندوة “النص الديني والترجمة” إلى طرح القضايا الثقافية واللسانية التي تواجه المترجم عند ترجمة النصوص الدينية و معانيها. و تقترح هذه الندوة المحاور الآتية للنقاش: – ما السبيل إلى تجاوز العقبات الثقافية التي يطرحها النص الديني عند نقله إلى لغة أخرى؟ – ما هي الخصائص اللسانية التي يعكسها النص الديني المترجم مقارنة مع نصوص أخرى؟ – ما أهمية علم اللسانيات في ترجمة النص الديني؟ – ما هي التحديات التي يطرحها المستوى البلاغي والأدبي عند ترجمة النص الديني؟ لا شك أن هذه الأسئلة وغيرها عند طرحها في سياق أكاديمي وفي جو يسوده الحوار والتسامح سيفضي لا محالة إلى نتائج تساعد المترجم على تجاوز ما يطرحه النص الديني من إشكالات وتحديات في علم الترجمة. إن الهدف من هذه الندوة هو إبراز دور المترجم كوسيط في حوار الحضارات و الثقافات بين الأمم و الشعوب، كما تسعى هذه الندوة إلى إبراز الدور الذي تلعبه ترجمة النص الديني في التقارب والحوار بين الثقافات. تدعو هذه الندوة المشاركين إلى مقاربة موضوع النص الديني والترجمة من زوايا متعددة، يتقاطع فيها اللساني والثقافي و الأدبي بغية تكامل المعارف في خدمة ترجمة النص الديني.
The Sacred Text Translation
If translation plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between cultures and civilizations, the translation of sacred texts is at the same time a vital need in this regard as well as a sensitive enterprise.
In fact, the translation of the sacred text-type had proven to be one of the most challenging exercises; yet it remains a highly prolific topic in the field of translation especially in these times of ideological crises and cultural conflicts.
The conference of The Sacred Text Translation aims specifically to address the cultural, linguistic and exegetical issues that arise whenever a translator undertakes the task of communicating the sacred contents of the Holy Scriptures in a different language. This conference considers questions as delicate as:
- How does a translator (fail to) bridge the gap between a sacred text and the language to which this text is translated 1.2.What linguistic patterns can the sacred text translation reveal that the translation of other texts cannot? 3. What is the relevance of the linguistic science to the sacred text translation? 4. What are the challenges facing the translation of the rhetorical and literary texture of the sacred texts? 5. Is exegesis a prerequisite to a sacred text translation?
Such questions would certainly be raised only in academic contexts where dialogue, tolerance and commitment to rational communication are stressed as the guiding ethical values. In fact, the ultimate goal of the conference is to bring to focus the often neglected role of the translating mediator in laying the grounds for a deeper and scholarly relevant concept of intercultural dialogue. Thus, one of the questions that the Sacred Text Translation conference is intended to motivate is concerned with the role which sacred texts translation can play in preparing a healthy atmosphere for intercultural dialogue.
The conference welcomes contributions to the sacred texts translation issue to be approached from a variety of disciplinary and interdisciplinary backgrounds including, but not restricted to: translation theory, cultural and intercultural studies, linguistics, exegesis, gender studies, interpreting studies and literary theory.
Textes Sacrés et Traduction
S’il est vrai que la traduction joue un rôle primordial dans le rapprochement des cultures et des civilisations, la traduction du texte sacré s’est avérée non moins importante, voire même une démarche incontournable pour réaliser ledit rapprochement.
La traduction du texte sacré a toujours constitué un champ d’importants défis, un sujet fructueux et source de polémique surtout dans une époque caractérisée par les conflits idéologiques et civilisationnels.
Ce colloque, sous le thème: « Texte(s) Sacré et Traduction », a pour objectif la mise en en relief des problèmes culturels et linguistiques auxquels est confronté le traducteur, à chaque fois qu’il essaie de traduire les sens du texte sacré.
Les différents axes qui seront soumis à la discussion lors de cette rencontre se présentent comme suit :
– comment dépasser les obstacles d’ordre culturel auxquels nous sommes confrontés lors du passage du texte sacré d’une langue à une autre ?
– Quelles sont les spécificités linguistiques du texte sacré traduit en comparaison avec d’autres types de textes?
– Quel est l’apport des sciences du langage au texte sacré traduit?
– Quels sont les défis rhétoriques et littéraires à relever dans la traduction du texte sacré ?
– Il est certain que toutes ces questions posées dans un cadre académique dont les mots d’ordre sont dialogue et tolérance permettraient au traducteur de contrecarrer les difficultés et les défis que lui impose la traduction.
Ce colloque se fixe comme objectif la mise en évidence de l’apport du traducteur en tant que médiateur dans le dialogue des civilisations et des cultures, médiation dont le traducteur du texte sacré joue le rôle de catalyseur.
Ce colloque se veut une approche pluridisciplinaire du texte sacré faisant converger le linguistique, le culturel et le littéraire pour servir harmonieusement le texte sacré traduit.
